About the Author

Eric is one of those people that writes whatever gets stuck in his head. Usually, it’s dark, fast-paced supernatural thrillers where ancient magic collides with the modern world, but on occasion he does lean a bit poetically.

It’s an amazing thing when we can find comfort in the darkness, but Eric has a way of making it happen. When not mapping out hidden underworlds or inventing (documenting?) new monsters, he can be found slinging a different kind of ink through a tattoo needle, (since 1985), or riding backroads on one of his motorcycles. He also writes and plays music, does just about any form of art, and can be located in the beautiful state of Missouri with a very patient wife and two hellhounds.

He will also be the first to tell you that family means everything to him, and he will never forget to brag about his kids, who are grown now and have amazing kids of their own. But he doesn’t forget to stop and tell them every once in awhile that he loves them, because distance and separation are not your friends. Hopefully everyone who reads this will remember there’s only one life in this body……

This body……

A man with a gray beard and bald head sitting in a dark, cozy room at a wooden desk with a laptop and various objects, including books, a globe, a candle, and a plant.
